I got a small eensy weansy question

with character creation, I noticed that each of the different clans had a "usually is this" paragraph. For example blank clan is usually of blank build and have blank color of pelts. Does that mean that my character has to be of that build/color?

No. Your character can look and act however you want (within the rules, of course). Those paragraphs are simply basic guidelines/stereotypes of what the cats in the Clans are like.
