The current season is Newleaf. This changes every out-of-character month
We are account-per-character here. This means that you must make a new account for every character. You may have an OOC account if you'd like.
1. We expect respect towards everyone. Godmoding (playing a character as if they're invincible) and powerplaying (playing another player's character without permission) are not allowed.
2. Swearing OOC is okay.
3. Cats do not have to be mates to conceive kittens (the RPers do have to agree OOC for the conception to happen). However, forced mating is not allowed. Cats can cheat on their mates, although it is preferred that all participants are aware of it OOC and agree to it to avoid actual human conflict.
In order to become mates, two cats should have at least 2 threads together. If they're only going to have kits, they should have 1 thread together.
4. Female cats give birth 4 out of character days after the litter has been rolled in the Litters board, and they may have have another litter after the previous are apprentices (at least one kit must be an apprentice because we all know that not everyone is going to want their kits to age up at the same time). They may have up to four litters.
5. Cats of every rank higher than apprentice (warriors and all high positions) may have mates and kits. Medicine cats will receive IC consequences if caught. The levels of these consequences vary based on their leader's decisions. Apprentices may have crushes. Kits may have nothing "more" than best friends. Forbidden relationships are allowed, but IC consequences are likely to occur.
Leaders and deputies will be temporarily replaced by a cat selected IC until their kittens are apprenticed, if they so choose to have kits while holding these positions.
6. No sexual content at all: it's against PBs' ToS and most people don't want to read it.
7. Realistic eye colors and pelt colors/patterns only. If your cat's pelt is not mostly white, then they cannot realistically have blue eyes or heterochromia (one blue eye and one green eye). I've read that this is possible, and while I believe it, if I allowed it we'd have black cats with blue eyes running around, so I'm cutting it off here by saying that this will not be accepted.
8. Your leader has full power over your character's warrior name, even if you decide to make up a sort of "wanted warrior name".
9. No self-harming or suicidal cats. The only exception is a cat trying to escape a bear trap or something of the sorts and chewing their leg off as this is a natural response.
10. Please write more than one line in-character.
11. We have monthly activity checks. Do not post or do not give a reason why, and have your account/s deleted.
12. Character tracking threads are required, and all characters you play must be included. I don't care if all of your characters are in one post or separate posts, how you format it, etc., but you must have one. This is to keep track of who plays who.
13. Advertisements belong in the advertisement boards only.
14. You may make up to two new characters per week, not including adoptions of any kind. This is to ensure that staff don't get swamped in applications. This is subject to change at any time.
This isn't really a rule as much as it is something I'd like to throw in: if you ever have any suggestions at all, please PM me on this account. I will consider the suggestion and give you feedback as to why I will add it or why I will not. If your suggestion isn't going to be used, don't take it to heart. I do what I feel is best for the forum.
